Our Process

Plan

Every project needs a starting point. Yours will start with a planning phase during which we’ll research your industry and gather your requirements. We’ll work with you to identify your individual needs and wants and will use this information as the basis for your site layout.

Design

Once we have your requirements and your “wish list”, the fun stage begins — designing the user interface and prototyping the graphic look and feel. During this stage, you’ll work with an artist to come up with a unique design.

Develop and Test

Once the design is ready, we enter the serious stage. Our software developers are industry veterans who will bring your design to life by following standards-based development practices. Using Ruby on Rails, CSS and Javascript, we’ll develop your site, interactive web applications and dynamic content. Once the site is built, it will enter the Quality Assurance stage during which we’ll thoroughly test the site using all standard web browsers and will give you the chance to do the same.

Maintain

When we launch your site, we’ll add special code to help optimize your site for search engines such as Google and Bing. We’ll also start analyzing your site to find out how people are using it. We’ll find out which content is popular and how long people spend on each page, and we’ll work with you to change and update the pages to help ensure you and your customers find the site to be useful and informative.
